My grandmother’s home in Durango, Mexico is the last living memory of a generation past. It has stayed the same for more then 25 years. It brings back memories of my childhood hopes and dreams and offers comfort.

For 25 years, and maybe even more, my grandmother’s home has retained its dependable, harmonious feel and appearance. To me it has been a place of sanctuary, a living memory and a peaceful place. Once inside all my woes are adrift, and my childhood memories can flow, feeling this allows my inner child to once again be set free.
